The transactional menu should be placed higher in the visual hierarchy than the content menu

Consider what is typically desired on a homepage: the FAQ page (content menu) or the site’s product list (transactional menu)?

Since transactional menus are accessed more frequently than content menus, they should be higher in the visual hierarchy.

Follow the conventions to determine the best placement for a transactional menu. Typically, it is in the front and center on the homepage, but it can also be found as a vertical menu at the bottom left of the page. The transactional menu should be larger than the content menu.

To draw attention to the transactional menu, place it in a colorful banner that contrasts with the background. Alternatively, you can design a border around the menu to create a similar effect. Another option is to leave plenty of white space around the transactional menu.
